I bought these shoes for my wife after having experience with the men's version. She absolutely loves them. They fit true to size and do exactly what they are designed for...providing traction in off pavement conditions. She has taken them through both dry and wet conditions and said they provide excellent grip and feel. These shoes have a very aggressive tread which makes them great for softer terrain but also provide a very tacky grip on harder surfaces. Like the men's version, she has let me know that they are not the most cushioned shoe but that is expected with a minimalist type all terrain shoe. This definitely isn't designed for logging tons of miles on hard-packed trails but more intended for softer, obstacle type conditions. As a side not, make sure to get a good synthetic fiber sock if running in wet grass or conditions. Cotton will tear your feet up and slide in shoes like these. All in all, for the price, paired with a DealFlyer extra promotion, the shoe and quality simply cannot be beaten.

It drains well in wet terrain. It does run small so order 1/2 size bigger. I would definitely recommend this shoe. Im getting ready to do an obstacle race and am sure it will be great. Ive trained in rugged areas to get ready for the race.
