I think the pair I got were mis- marked as the 12 fit like a 10. Had to send them back as they were uncomfortable in the waist. My waist is not small. Otherwise I really liked them.

I bought the other Discovery pencil pants in my size and they were fine. These are also VERY short, which is fine for someone like me who is 5'3" but consider that if you are not petite. You can hardly see the embossing which is OK if that is not why you want to buy these pants. I would buy again.

I had ordered a size larger to allow for outdoor activity and they are too small. I'm afraid the next size up will be too large, so I'll probably pass on these for now.

The pants fit perfectly. I was excited that Sierra Trading Post offered them in a lighter color. I ordered the same pants in a size 6. When I received the STP pants they were mismarked. They are much smaller than the size 6 pants I already owned that are same brand and the same style. The Sierra Trading Post pants were 4 inches shorter in length and much smaller through the waist, hips and thighs. These are not a size 6. More like a 2. I contacted Sierra Trading Post because I do not think it is fair that I paid $10.92 in shipping for a pair of pants that are mismarked on size. I would very much liked to have kept the pants had they been sized and marked correctly. I spoke to 2 represetatives and I have still been charged shipping both ways. I hope they do not sell this pair of pants to anyone else. They will also receive pants that are mismarked and high shipping charges. I know there are risks with buying online. When I know a product and a size that fits I minimize the risk. I will not be ordering from STP again. Too expensive shipping for sizes that are not accurate.
