Kind of sending the wrong message, eh Simms?

I'm an average sized dude, typically a large. I ordered an XL due to Simms t's being snug in the past. While the arm holes were located in the right places, the arms are a little snug still. The XL was passable but a L would've been very "smedium" on me.
