They dry out fast when wet, allow feel for your reel and line. The extra padding on the business end of the fingers helps with fly line. Longer pointer fingers and thumbs protect those areas.

Great Gloves for the flattsReviewed by nmflyguy from New mexico on Wednesday, March 28, 2018Love these for casting all day on the flats- My hands always get sunburned from handling fishing and washing off sunscreen. These work really well and the stripping patches are nice to save your hands from line burn. For the price you cant beat them. I also use them when fishing freshwater to keep my hands from sunburns.
