Sadly, the sweater fell way short of my expectations! Got it and tried it on, not bad. However the cuffs around the wrist went out of shape quickly and would not retract at all to the original shape. Same for the waist band. I purchased a sweater at Ross for $10 and it was 4X better than this one! What a waste of money! Don't want to buy anymore from STP.

But the order was redeemed with this sweater! It was really well made, SUPER SUPER soft, and fit me very well. I wear a L or XL (I'm lucky...or not...enough to be right between the two sizes...) and I ordered an XL. It fit very well (and might even have a bit of room to shrink). This might be one of the most comfortable sweaters I've worn...super soft. I'm thoroughly enamored with it and might just buy another!

Warm enough to wear as a top layer in dry, cool temps 40-50F, yet breathable to keep from overheating on steeper hikes or transferring from in/outdoors. It also seems to keep its fit without getting stretched out and baggy.
