2.0 out of 5 stars. No Sternum straps providedReviewed by Jon from NYC on Friday, June 10, 2016Get your own sternum straps I was told even though the photo shows the pack with sternum straps. Backpack a bit too large for a tablet or notebook.

3.0 out of 5 stars. Super awesome laptop backpack, but terrible for ridingVerified Buyer Reviewed by Anonymous from Portland, OR on Thursday, June 9, 2016I love this bag as a cool backpack to carry my laptop around. Tons of compartments, comfortable and convenient.
However, there is a solid piece of plastic in the back of the pack, which makes it rigid. When I ride with it, the bag doesn't conform to my back. It actually rubbed a spot on my back raw (at one of the middle vertebrae) the other day. I'm a roadie, so maybe this would work better for a more upright positioned rider.
I like Timbuk2 bags and I really wanted to like this one. I associate Timbuk2 with cycling bags, but I've now learned not every bag is designed to be used for cycling.
Overall: Really cool bag, but really disappointed it is so terrible for riding. Aside from that, it's a 5 star bag. -
3.0 out of 5 stars. Awesome, except DID NOT ARRIVE AS PICTURED.Verified Buyer Reviewed by Anonymous from Seattle on Tuesday, May 31, 2016I love this bag, don't get me wrong, but it arrived without the sternum straps OR ANY padding for the back as pictured. I still use it, but I have yet to hear anything from Sierra Trading Post about these inconsistencies.

5.0 out of 5 stars. Love it!Verified Buyer Reviewed by esg1108 from New Hampshire on Tuesday, May 31, 2016Love this backpack. I have back issues and this lets me carry my computer and other things very comfortably. It's sturdy and the colors (red and purple) are great-looking. The only thing is: the description says it comes with a sternum strap, but it doesn't. (Maybe they changed that in the description since I called to complain!) Happily, I've found that I don't need the strap for my load. Perhaps if I were a student and had to schlep around a few textbooks I would want it.

5.0 out of 5 stars. Great College BagVerified Buyer Reviewed by CONordie from Colorado on Monday, May 30, 2016Nice size for biking around campus. Love the strap for a blinky light! And the big top flap keeps the weather out.

3.0 out of 5 stars. nice backpack--no sternum strapVerified Buyer Reviewed by Anonymous from California on Tuesday, February 16, 2016Nice backpack, except it did not come with a "removable sternum strap" described in the item description. I was really disappointed that it did not come with the sternum strap.

5.0 out of 5 stars. Great little bagReviewed by Lh from Boston on Wednesday, April 29, 2015Compared to the chrome messenger I'm used to carrying this bag feels pretty small. But so far it's very comfy even with a heavy load. I wish it came with a waist strap but these kinds of bags usually don't. I like the pockets, everything is very easy to access. The price is excellent on sierra trading post. Oh and I love the purple color!
