I contacted Customer Service and they said they would have to ask a parts specialist.
A few days later I received an email message that said the shades do not roll up; they tie up.
The product title (see above) says it is a Roll-Up Shade. Go figure.
In the meantime, my husband and I figured out how to make the "non-roll up" shades do what they claim to do.
The shades are good for the price we paid.
