4.0 out of 5 stars. Like these alotVerified Buyer Reviewed by Travel Girl from colorado on Saturday, June 4, 2016They are comfortable to travel in. Not noisy when moving through the brush. Other than that, they deliver what you buy hiking pants for. Light, quick dry, does not rip on twigs and brush. Really light weight so a pair of tights underneath for the cooler mornings. Would be again. I bought two, but would buy again

3.0 out of 5 stars. Way too bigReviewed by Jill from New York on Sunday, May 22, 2016I ordered these pants in a size 4/34. I'm 5'9" and normally a size 4. They were long enough, but way too big in the waist. They did, however, fit my mother perfectly. She is normally a size 8. She likes them and is thrilled she fits in a 4. I would definitely recommend ordering a size (or two) down.

5.0 out of 5 stars. Good Pants, Great BargainVerified Buyer Reviewed by Long Tall Texan from Texas on Wednesday, April 13, 2016I recently purchased a few pairs of these pants in the long/tall size for my teenage daughters. We were so impressed with them (and the price on STP) that we just purchased a few more pairs. We plan to take these hiking and kayaking and anything else we can get into. So nice to have such a selection of colors and sizes in the longer length - and for such a reasonable price. We also like the soft, non-itchy waistband, sturdy but lightweight AND water repellent material and all of the pockets and other features. They do seem to run a little large, but not so much as to warrant a return for a smaller size. I'd rather have my activewear be roomy than clingy.

1.0 out of 5 stars. HumongousReviewed by Anonymous from Louisiana on Thursday, March 31, 2016Believe the reviews--the sizing on these pants is way off. Since I like a looser fit on my hiking pants, I took a chance. They are at least two sizes larger than the official size. These pants seem to be exactly what I expected, but I won't bother exchanging them because I have no idea what size to order.

4.0 out of 5 stars. LightweightVerified Buyer Reviewed by Sierra Skier from Sierra Nevadas on Wednesday, March 16, 2016So, I haven't taken these out on a backpacking trip (that's what I do as Wilderness Seasonal Ranger). I needed some lightweight green hiking pants. I predict that these will wear out in the butt before anywhere else, they are reinforced in the crotch area, which will save it there for awhile. I bought a pair of Mtn. Hardwear shorts and so, I just ordered the same size and they fit perfect. I would agree with the other reviews that these do run larger than other similar companies like Marmot and North Face. These forsure are NOT super-duper durable pants, I bought two pairs to rotate and hopefully last longer. These are not the "Carhartts" of hiking pants but they are very lightweight and have two front pockets and a right-side quad pocket (great for field notebooks! I'm hoping to take these to the Grand Canyon and hope they'll do great!

1.0 out of 5 stars. Not for meVerified Buyer Reviewed by imasherpa from TN on Monday, January 11, 2016These were way off the mark for me. I purchased these in 34/14 and they too short in length and the fabric was very thin and raspy, altogether uncomfortable. I returned them.
