4.0 out of 5 stars. Nice Ski Jacket, fit is small and tallReviewed by Mountain Girl from Conifer, Colorado on Thursday, August 20, 2015I ended up purchasing this jacket in 3 sizes, so I have advice on fit. I ended up keeping the Medium, and I am 5' 2" tall, 130 lb, and normally wear size 6. I originally ordered the Small and the XS (ever the optimist). The small fit but not with a midweight layer like a sweater under it. With a lightweight fleece, the upper arms and chest were way too tight. The length on the sleeves is super long, so if you are tall, I highly recommend this jacket. I don't mind my sleeves being a little long, but I will have to hem these! There is length in the body, as well, it fit more like a parka on me which I don't mind, but again ideal for the taller woman. Too bad they don't have petite sizes for me! I love the sleeve pocket, but I wish they would make women's ski jackets with 7 pockets, not 5-- I love having chest pockets I can access from the outside of the coat in addition to the goggle pocket and inside zippered media pocket. The upper pockets in the shell cannot be accessed unless you unzip the zip-in liner halfway down. There are an additional 2 hand pockets on the inside of the liner, and 2 more zippered pockets on the reverse of the liner. You can reverse the liner for wearing without the shell, or even reverse it inside the shell so your extra zipper pockets are easy to get to. Even with the liner in, I did not think it looked bulky on, because the coat is tailored in at the waist.

5.0 out of 5 stars. Great Jacket at a great price!Reviewed by VTMOM from Burlington, VT on Monday, July 27, 2015My daughter goes to school in one of the coldest spots in the lower 48. We have been shopping for a Tri-climate jacket for sometime and found this one about 35% off list price plus and additional 40% off with a STP Coupon. Not only was it a STEAL, but this jacket is perfect!. We got the blue jacket (looks a little purple, but more of a denim color). It fit perfectly and is nice and warm - it will definitely be a blessing on those really cold days. Mountain Hardwear always seem to run true to size and has really great quality so we are happy with this purchase and would highly recommend. Thanks STP!

3.0 out of 5 stars. Great quality, but bulkyVerified Buyer Reviewed by urban walker from Seattle on Thursday, May 14, 2015Loved the quality (super warm) but this coat was not flattering on me. I ordered a medium, I'm not sure a small would be less bulky. I sent it back.

5.0 out of 5 stars. Beautiful and warm coatReviewed by SaraKB from NY on Thursday, March 19, 2015I purchased this jacket in the Bright Rose color (though the Mayan Green was tempting!) after a disappointing experience with another Mountain Hardwear jacket, the Turnagain and Again. This is a much warmer coat with all the features I missed on that one--removable hood, two way zipper, storm flap, and streamlined pocket design. This is my everyday coat in upstate NY, where we spend several months in single digits, teens, and 20's temperatures each winter, occasionally with dips into the -20's with windchill. I felt the cold and the wind right through the Turnagain, but not through the Trifecta. Although I prefer having less bulk and so hoped a single layer jacket would work for me, 3-in-1 interchange jackets can't be beat for warmth. I feel this coat still has a very flattering, feminine fit, with a waist that nips in and a slight flare at the hips. Love the subtle textural pattern and the thumb-hole cuffs too. I'm a size 6/8 and bought a medium, and have room for layers. A size small would have been too small.
