4.0 out of 5 stars. Give 'em a ChanceVerified Buyer Reviewed by Heather the Huguenot from Down East Maine on Saturday, September 12, 2015These shoes are taking some time to break in, but I think they will work out well. The sole is super chunky and protective, which is really good for walking on concrete floors all day. They look very classy and are easy to keep clean. However, they are extremely close-fitting. It is a job to get them on and off, and the first few times I have worn them, the upper part pressed so firmly on the top of my foot that it caused discomfort. The size is right though, so it is just the style that makes them a bit sketchy at first. They are wearing a bit more now though and becoming more comfortable. Considering that the uppers and the lining are made of leather, I am a bit disappointed that they don't smell a little more fresh at the end of the day. I have a natural shoe deodorizing spray I use which should prevent any odors that are too terrible, but I do wonder what they will be like after several months....Anyway, overall, they are a nice, hearty pair of work shoes that will probably give you your money's worth. They might just require a bit of time to break in.

4.0 out of 5 stars. Meet expectationsVerified Buyer Reviewed by Anonymous from California on Wednesday, August 26, 2015I've always worn Dansko clogs for work. I had to buy a new one because my last one is totally worn out. I found this pair on sale and bought them based on the reviews. The shoes didn't disappoint. They were actually more beautiful than pictured. Very professional-looking. True to size. Feet would feel the soft cushion especially after you just put the shoes on. However, I think the shoes need some breaking in. I work long hours at work. At the end of the shift, my toes still hurt. I'm sure after I break in the shoes, it'll be ok. This has been my previous experience with my other Dansko clogs. I'm just hoping the shoes break in sooner than later!

5.0 out of 5 stars. Love this styleReviewed by Anonymous from Wisonsin on Friday, May 1, 2015I have two pair of these, a brown and a black that I actually bought elsewhere. I was hoping to find hem in blue or gray so I would have a pair to match anything. I find traditional Dansko too rigid and buy the XP instead. This style is my favorite though. I found them comfortable from day one because of the elastic gore and unpadded collar thing across the top of the foot. If any ever finds it in blue (that color used to exist) let me know. I might have to get another brown one just to save for the future.

5.0 out of 5 stars. Great shoesVerified Buyer Reviewed by jbk from Hood River, OR on Wednesday, March 25, 2015Wanted a burly pair of Danskos with more coverage around the ankle. Sizing is true - I wear a 39 Dansko, and the size 39 fit well. A beautiful shoe - well made and perfect for outdoor walks with the dog. I actually almost hate to soil the leather when I plod through NW puddles, but the shoe is made for it. A great buy at a great price.

3.0 out of 5 stars. Tough to get used toVerified Buyer Reviewed by NurseJess from IN on Wednesday, March 18, 2015If you're used to traditional Danskos or even the XP, these may be hard to get used to. I normally wear the Professional XP with the nonskid soles and a bit of extra padding for work and the regular Dansko clogs for everyday. These are more fitted around the ankle, and I find I have some soreness where they rub at my ankles. The more I wear them, the less I feel sore after a long shift as a nurse. Overall, good quality and great price, just not used to them.

5.0 out of 5 stars. Love DanskosVerified Buyer Reviewed by Anonymous from New Hampshire on Saturday, March 14, 2015These have a much more defined arch support than the professional model and slightly more snug fit. More comfortable overall. I'll be looking for other colors!

4.0 out of 5 stars. Not the same as other Professional-Style DanskosVerified Buyer Reviewed by Anonymous from San Francisco on Wednesday, March 11, 2015I wanted to order these for casual wear, but they didn't have my usual size that I've worn for two decades. Took a chance and ordered a size up, thinking I could wear heavier socks or use an insert. But they fit the same as my smaller Danskos! Placed them sole-to-sole to check the difference, and they were the same length. This also happened with the canvas Dansko clogs I ordered last summer -- my usual size was too small.
In addition, in these clogs the arch support is farther back toward the heel than usual. Good for people with plantar fasciitis concerns, but bad for those of us who need more metatarsal support or who deal with neuroma pain. Ever since Dansko sent their manufacturing to SE Asia, the quality of their footwear dropped dramatically. There isn't nearly as much cushioning in the soles, and the construction quality is inconsistent.
These are adequate for casual wear, however (just not at the hospital), and I will keep them. Have already worn them a lot and have no other significant complaints. Even with the quality concerns, these are a good deal for the price.
