I am disappointed because they didn't fit not because they weren't' great shorts.
Buy these shorts, I just hope they fit you better than they did me. I am a big L or small XL (6'4" 210 lbs) The XL were so big that the drawstring did nothing for me and the L may have worked, however, I have seen speedos fit more generously than these did on me.
These shorts are made of ridiculously soft material and very lightweight (it may have fit like a speedo but these shorts may weigh less than a speedo). Had they fit well I probably would have ordered about 2-4 more pairs. I highly recommend them if they fit you.
I am guessing the material is what caused this to be the case, it is not very stretchy or flexible, although MH has always fit me kind of strangely (all outdoor apparel).
