5.0 out of 5 stars. Warm, great-looking jacket

I put this thing on indoors, and I almost started sweating immediately. Great for those frigid temps, and you could fit a base layer underneath if need be. It doesn't have a lot of bells and whistles that come with other jackets (eg. thumb-hole gaiters, detachable skirt or hood, or a gazillion pockets), so if you're looking to keep it simple - this is for you. My only true gripe was that the velcro on the front pockets was almost too strong. I'm sure that's a plus out on the slopes, but not very convenient in the lodge. Also, the front pockets only open at the top, there's pocket behind it that zips from the side like most jackets. However, the hand-warming pockets on the chest do make up for that somewhat. All around, a very very warm jacket that definitely stands out on the hill. I ultimately had to return this jacket because it was just a bit too big for me, and they didn't have the next size down. I'm 5'10, 185, and I ordered the large thinking I would need room to layer underneath.

About Bonfire

Bonfire snowboarding gear has been heating up the slopes for more than 25 years. According to the legend, the founders of Bonfire ceremonially burned their boards in a huge bonfire as a sacrifice for more snow. After the snow came, they decided the next step was to create their own apparel company for riders who shared the same passion. Although Bonfire snowboard jackets and pants have come a long way over the years, the brand’s commitment to the riding lifestyle has only grown stronger. Today, Bonfire snowboard pants and jackets incorporate the best-looking fabrics and technology to keep you warm, dry and looking fresh on the mountain and in the backcountry. Ready to ride?
