5.0 out of 5 stars. Snowy Appalachian Trail HikeVerified Buyer Reviewed by Anonymous from Tennessee on Monday, March 7, 2016I bought this bag for the rating for warmth in colder conditions. This past weekend, after having it for a week, I put it to the test. On a snowy hike and camp on the Appalachian Trail near Roan Mountain, TN. It saved me from lots of misery in the frosty elements where the temp got down to 25 degrees. I stayed warm all night and had a comfortable sleep. I would recommend this bag!

4.0 out of 5 stars. This might just replace my current bag!Reviewed by Anonymous from Flatlander on Wednesday, March 2, 2016Just received this bag today from STP as a replacement for my original purchase (Mountainsmith 20°F Redcloud Sleeping Bag). I was looking for something inexpensive that would compress down more than the Mountainsmith did and boy did I luck out finding this! I was looking for a bag that my son could use, that would also double as a loaner in case a friend wants to go hiking with me sometime.
Weight and Size.
The bag and carrying sack weigh in at 39.5 oz. (2.47 lbs). Not compressed the dimensions are roughly 13" long x 8" wide. I'm sure if you have a compression bag you can get it even smaller.
Warmth.
I have not used this yet, so I cannot speak to its warmth. I will update that info later. For me anything under 25 degrees I will most likely use a fleece liner anyway.
Quality.
Bag appears to be well made for the price. I will update after a few uses. -
5.0 out of 5 stars. Kelty Cosmic Dri-DownVerified Buyer Reviewed by Anonymous from Tennessee on Thursday, February 4, 2016Great warm sleeping bag! Have only used it sleeping in a hammock above snow in temperatures just below freezing and was very warm. Have not used it in wet or damp conditions yet but is great so far!

5.0 out of 5 stars. Good bag, great price!Verified Buyer Reviewed by Hackey from Pennsylvania on Wednesday, January 20, 2016After researching this bag I purchased one to replace an old sleeping bag and in preparation for an upcoming 10 day summer hike. I ended up buying another one for my son. While I haven't tested in the cold, I don't know that I would trust it at temps under 35 degrees without a liner or other, but I don't plan on sleeping out in weather that cold. I guess I'm just used to my 5 lb 0 degree bag. While it may not be the best bag on the market, it also isn't $400. It isn't the warmest, lightest or smallest but seems to do everything average which is what I wanted. From 3 season tent camping, going to the cabin, or throwing it on my pack and going....this bag fits all my needs. I like it! Comfy too!

5.0 out of 5 stars. Great down bag dealVerified Buyer Reviewed by JM from NYC on Monday, December 14, 2015With deal flyer the $220 long bag came in at about $112 before shipping and taxes. The bag is very well made; with excellent features and a great look. It compresses to fit in a 13L stuff sack.

5.0 out of 5 stars. Great bag, excellent serviceReviewed by Anonymous from Wyoming on Monday, October 19, 2015I am 6'2" so I was on the fence about which length bag to buy. I am glad I went with the long. Nothing wrong with a little more room. Was very comfortable and warm. Also, from order to delivery, I am not sure I have ever experienced faster service. Thank you STP!

5.0 out of 5 stars. First ImpressionReviewed by Michael Polan from Colorado on Saturday, April 18, 2015I haven't had a chance to take this out on a camping trip, but have tried it out in the backyear staying out overnight. At temps down to 40 degrees, had no issues. Well, ok. Maybe it kept me too hot at that temperature. Going to give it a try tonight but don't expect any issues at that temperature. Plenty of room. Over-all it looks like this will work good. Only quesiton will be how low in temperature will I be able to use it in, but only time will tell. Oh, the pack weight is pretty lite. Can't say it is ultra-lite, but still I consider it lite enough for packing and given the price I paid, it is a good deal. Giving it 5* for the value for the price I paid.
