I liked the look of these so much I thought I'd try them out, but didn't have much hope for it working. After reading the reviews I ordered a 9 for my 8.5 feet and it fit perfectly. They are exactly what I was looking for - a look I like as much as Chuck Taylors, but with slightly more support. It is a very comfortable shoe! The colors are great and the choice of lace color is fun. I bought black and purple and am very pleased with both. The construction is very good as well and they look like they will last.

I usually wear a 7-7.5, I ordered an 8 because reviews said they ran short and they are great. They are a little big, but not so big I have to return them, and they are so comfy. I might add an insole for arch support, but really I like them a lot.

Supportive shoes with moderate arch & cushy footbed are my usual requirements. . I was bummed that half a size up was not available, so I ordered a whole size up (8.5) to accommodate an insert. The innersole is lightly glued on, so I guess one could remove it, although I chose not, since it provided the cush I needed. Blue Superfeet added on top gave me perfectly comfortable shoes. Not as cushy as the original Keens & Ahnus, but surprisingly good enough for running a lot of errands around the city.
I agree with those who're not happy with the short laces because there's not enough to lace with X's. The shoes look somewhat wider on my feet with the horizonal lacing it came with, but I've grown to like it--gives it a hip-pier look.

These shoes run small, maybe a little on the narrow side too. I ordered my regular size (which usually provides more than adequate space, if there was such a thing as 6 3/4 that's what I'd be) but it was too small, toes bumping up against the end. Called, got new size at the price I had paid and all was fine. Cute as can be, my "life is short go ahead and wear pink laces" statement shoes.
