The UPF rating of 30+ is surprising but seems about right - I didn't get sunburned in five days of direct sun above 7000'.
With the cape it looks a little silly - but it keeps the bugs off. Without the cape it's a nice-looking cap. -

This helps tremendously until I start sweating ... then they're stupid thick and you probably should rethink why you are outside in the first place... Glad there is not a face screen as I prefer to not have material in my face. -
