5.0 out of 5 stars. Force runs smaller than regular Carhartt shirts

Although the same quality and comfort is in the Force shirt, I found out that when I ordered these Carhartt Force shirts for the first time along with a regular Henley & t shirt from Carhartt, that the Force in the same size were much smaller, I guess for form fitting, but I need room in my arm pits and not interested in form fit. I returned these and if I ordered force again, I would order 2 sizes up. I recommend going in a store and trying on your shirt or pants you are interested in and then coming back to order online when you know what size fits you. I reviewed this shirt earlier thinking it was the regular henley I ordered and I reviewed it incorrectly. I normally wear medium.

This shirt was only available in my size in brown and I do't normally pick dark colors, but this shirt looks good and has the quality I've come to expect from Carhartt. My carhartt shirts last more than a year with working construction. They wash and dry well without shrinking and are comfortable.
  • 4.0 out of 5 stars. fits well

Fits well in a medium. I'm 5' 7.5", 160lbs. However, the material is very light weight. I had assumed it'd be heavier. Essentially a t-shirt with buttons. Maybe a little nicer.

I've been a fan of carhartt products for awhile now. It's only recently that I bought any of their shirts labeled as Force. They are a cotton blend, and they really feel nice next to the skin. Instead of being stitched across the shoulder they have sort of a jersey look being stitched lower in the front. They have a generous fit as well as their other shirts. Love it!

About Carhartt

If you're looking for durable, comfortable clothing and outerwear, few other brands can compete with Carhartt. Although the venerable Carhartt clothing company has become one of the most respected names in American work wear today, the brand comes from humble roots. Founded in 1889, the family-owned business started out in Detroit, Michigan with just two sewing machines and five employees. During The First World War, the company made uniforms for the US military and also manufactured work clothing for the Navy during WWII. Today, Carhartt clothing is still known for robust fabrics, top-notch construction and a great fit. From rugged Carhartt jackets and coveralls to jeans and shirts, this is one brand you can trust to deliver the real deal -- every time.
