3.0 out of 5 stars. Flame Resistant JeansVerified Buyer Reviewed by Jeanne123 from San Diego, CA on Sunday, January 17, 2016The quality of the fabric was very good but the sizing was way off for Carhartt Jeans. They were too small around the waist so I had to return them. The cut and sizing was not like previous Carhartt pants I have ordered.

3.0 out of 5 stars. Sized wrongVerified Buyer Reviewed by active grandma from Upstate New York on Wednesday, January 13, 2016These jeans were very well made with a nice heavy denim. They were way off in size however. I always take a size 12 and would say these are about a size 8. Returning them, but there are none left in a larger size. I would recommend that anyone who is buying these chooses at least 2 sizes larger.

4.0 out of 5 stars. Traditional jeansVerified Buyer Reviewed by Happy Traveler from CdA on Saturday, December 26, 2015These are a heavy weight jean in the traditional style; that is, made with denim and no stretchy fabric. I have been looking for a pair of jeans like this. Other reviewers suggested that these run small and I ordered accordingly. Unfortunately, that was a mistake for me. If you are pear-shaped (smaller waist than hips), these are cut true-to-size. If you are apple-shaped or have a muffin-top, you'll probably want to order up so that the waist isn't too tight. Because I ordered a size larger, these are baggy on me and I have extra room in the waist, but they've been working well as a winter-weight jean for me. There's plenty of room if I want to wear tights underneath for extra warmth, if needed.

3.0 out of 5 stars. runs smallVerified Buyer Reviewed by Eleanor from Washington on Thursday, November 5, 2015The pair of jeans I bought these to replace were also Carhartt and the same size, but these are smaller. They aren't the exact same model of Carhartt jeans though. They look nice, and hopefully I will fit into them soon.

4.0 out of 5 stars. impossible snapReviewed by Anonymous from New Mexico on Friday, October 16, 2015I like these jeans. BUT I ordered a pair and literally could not get the top snap snapped, so thought it was defective and returned them in exchange for another pair. When I received the replacement, that snap, too, didn't seem to snap, so I called and yelled at a poor Sierra Trading Post rep. After snapping open and literally hammering shut the snap ten times or so, I can now snap the jeans but it ain't easy. I have some overuse arthritis in my thumbs, but, really, if you don't have superior thumb grip ability, these will try your patience. Otherwise, they seem true to size for me, and are nice looking jeans.

1.0 out of 5 stars. Sizing offVerified Buyer Reviewed by Anonymous from Connecticut on Thursday, July 2, 2015I usually love Carhartt jeans. It almost seemed that this pair was mismarked. They were supposed to be 34 length, but I measured it and maybe it was 34 before any sewing was done. The fit was too small in the hip and waist also. I had to return them.

5.0 out of 5 stars. quality product, but runs smallVerified Buyer Reviewed by Ms M from Seattle on Monday, June 29, 2015These Carhartt jeans are heavy duty and are definitely built to last. However, they do run small. I usually wear a 10; but had to return them for a 14. So do not let vanity get in the way of a good pair of work jeans. Order a size or two up and cut the tags out so no one will know.
