I'm 5'1 and most things are oversized. As a chef I need to carry a lot of things around and I always have a water bottle. This is the perfect size for me without being bulky.

  • 4.0 out of 5 stars. Very nice day back for the day hiker

All the bells and whistles you could want from a day pack, and well constructed, too. It's more for actual day trips than commuting or what have you because of the two straps, one across the upper chest and one across the waist. These hold the bag in after you adjust it to your body but that means you don't just ease in and out quickly. The dangling straps would be a nuisance if you didn't buckle them.

I am a shorter woman and this bag fits me nicely. The ventilation is a plus for those hot days; no sweaty back.

Daypack arrived a day early and matches the description in every way. Multiple adjustments enable it to fit over everything from a t-shirt to a ski parka.

About Deuter

Deuter backpacks and hydration packs have set the industry standard for quality, durability and innovation since the company was founded in Germany more than 100 years ago. Deuter packs accompanied mountaineers on early Himalayan expeditions, and Deuter backpacks were used on the first successful climb of the north face of the Eiger in 1938. Deuter introduced the first bike-specific hydration pack in 1990. Today, Deuter backpacks and hydration packs are available in a variety of sizes and models, with many offering customizable suspension systems.
