3.0 out of 5 stars. Not as good as last years, but I'll take itReviewed by Anonymous from USA somewhere on Wednesday, December 17, 2014I bought last year's shirt model, the "Icebreaker Oasis Print Base Layer Top - Lightweight" as it was labeled on the website or "Bodyfit+ 200" as it is labeled on the shirt tag, but either way, absolutely loved it. I am 5'11", 168 lbs, and medium fit slightly snug to my skin but allowed free arm movement which is the fit I love for active sports like cross-country skiing. The bottom of the shirt, when I pull it down after I put it on me, comes down to just over my hips, somewhere between hips and crotch, which I think is perfect for active cold sports. I would sweat in my ski jacket but still be comfortable for an hour and was just awesome to wear.
So I figured I'd get another one of these shirts. This model, which I assume is a newer model of the same shirt, is a downgrade. The tag says "improved fit" and I disagree. I still got the medium, but it is about an inch longer (can come down to my crotch when I pull the shirt all the way down). The shirt is a big more baggy in the biceps and chest area than the older model I bought last year. I mean, for sports, which I assume is what the designers of this shirt were thinking of, I would think you would want a shirt a bit shorter in length.
I'll probably keep it anyways because I think the only real base layer worth using and owning is wool, but I may change my mind because of the "worse improved fit".
