And I love to wear them solo, not just as a baselayer. I have found that a number of the icebreaker products have neck openings sized for people with disproportionately-sized necks (not athletic folks, climbers or mountaineers). I think that wide neck openings look sloppy and stupid. Loved the material and color ... but I returned it.
