I was Very impressed with the quality of materials, and craftsmanship of this jacket. It runs a bit small, so we had to exchange the Large for an Extra Large. The Extra Large is a perfect fit!

5.0 out of 5 stars. Light warm comfortableVerified Buyer Reviewed by Montanaskiandsail from Duh! on Wednesday, April 22, 2015Great fit for me at 5.10 170 lbs in a large. Longer sleeves than most with elastic cuffs. Snug hood works well for a bare head or a beanie / baseball cap. not big enough for over helmets. Elastic hem. 3 pockets.

5.0 out of 5 stars. Warm, god fit, great buy.Reviewed by Montanaskiandsail from Montana Duh! on Friday, April 10, 2015Picked this up on a great Deal flyer offer for well under half the price of a comparable Mtn Hardwear jacket. (This is very close to a Belay man Mtn H. jacket.) 200 grams synthetic insulation. I was able to try both the Belay man and this to compare the fit , this jacket was perfect for me in a large. with the shoulders and arms fitting me better. I (I am 5.10 & 170 lbs.) I own a Mtn H. compressor (in Large size) and really like it , but I wanted something a touch warmer and this fits the bill. To be fair, the fabric and finish of the compressor is a little nicer and the hood has two adjustments. The Lowe Alpine has a snug fitting under helmet style hood with no adjustments, but again the sizing was perfect and it felt more comfortable with nothing rubbing on my face and chin when zipped up. The only thing I would add is two mesh dump style pockets inside. The jacket has two hand pockets, one zip inside right hand side pocket and one out side chest pocket on the left breast. It has a drawstring hem with adjustments on both sides, and elastic cuffs. It is an insulator jacket with reg zippers and a DWR coated nylon but not waterproof outer fabric, pair with a shell if needed. Very happy with it!

5.0 out of 5 stars. Light and warm!Verified Buyer Reviewed by Anonymous from Vermont on Wednesday, March 11, 2015Really happy with this jacket. Super light and super warm. Runs small for my taste...I'm 6'3", 210 lbs, and I almost always wear a large. Glad another reviewer shared their meaurements and encouraged an XL. That's what I did and it fits perfectly.

5.0 out of 5 stars. Nice, warm jacket---keeps the bulk to a minumum.Verified Buyer Reviewed by BlackBadger Group (DCP) from SW Colorado on Tuesday, March 10, 2015Really slick, packable jacket. I was looking for something warmer than a fleece, but not necessarily as warm as a 650 or 700-fill down coat. Perfect for high-altitude Colorado weather. The fit is leaner than some of the technical wear I've owned over the years, so if your doubtful about the sizing, I'd recommend opting for the larger size.
I'm really pleased with the product---it's well made. -
5.0 out of 5 stars. Awesome jacket!Reviewed by SoccerCowboy from Northern Illinois on Sunday, February 15, 2015This is a closer cut jacket and it noticeably warmer than Mountain Hardwear compressor jackets but it is has a much more insulation.
I love it!
