Hyalite Equipment Super Rear Pannier - Set of 2

I took touring trip with a friend who had these - they were fantastic, durable, and sturdy. I decided to order set for myself and my husband for our upcoming PA trip. Great product and excellent price by STP!

Bought these at a super STP discount and was impressed with their capacity and waterproofness on a recent 200 mile tour. The top flap was a little awkward at first, but the attached net bag proved useful for drying my towel and swim trunks while peddling along. More room than I knew what to do with. I can't imagine maxing these bags out! Attachment hardware provides a secure fit so the bags didn't move around or rub. Was able to get the matching front panniers, too, so the whole set together makes a handsome kit!

When I originally received this product, both panniers in the set were defective. One was missing the clips that attach the pannier to the bike rack, and on the other one, the clips that attach the lid/top flap to the pannier had mismatched clips (two female ends, that could not attach to each other). I requested an exchange to replace the defective product, and the second set they sent me was defective, as well. This time both panniers had the clips that attach to the bike rack, but both had mismatched clips attaching the lid to the rest of the pannier. I like everything else about this product. I particularly liked that its made of coated nylon, rather than PVC. But, I don't think I want to try a third time to get a non-defective product. I didn't want to pass up this deal, because STP has such a great price for these panniers. However, I'm at the point where I'm willing to pay up for a product that is not defective.
