These have been mainly used for walking in snow, but plan to hike them come Spring. They felt slightly snug at first but the moldable sole did its magic and fit great. So happy so far!

When they came, I put them on to try for size and realized 5 hours later I still had them on!!! VERY COMFORTABLE and fit well, obviously!! Havent used them in the woods yet, but on hard floors and pavement I have to say YES!!! Sized properly for me as well... I wear and 8 and that is what I ordered. ENJOY !!

Just walking around the house to break them in, they are very secure and comfortable. I purchased for my upcoming trip to the UK so we'll see how well they hold up across the pond!

Rose in Nevada, a 10 hour hike. I didn't even try and break them in. Unfortunately there was WAY too much snow on the trail and I lost the trail about 5 minutes in. I ended up following footprints up the side of a snow covered peak. I had great traction through the snow and everything else. I ended up wearing them for 3 hours and 45 minutes. I had a small blister at the end but for no break in I was impressed. They fit true to size for me and I have a fairly wide foot. My feet stayed dry in the snow too!

I bought these for my 12 year old because they are good quality, Gore-Tex, and a lower profile than some other boots. Unfortunately, on our first hike, one of the lacing grommets broke off. I called in for a replacement pair, but they no longer had her size, so we have to get a different boot entirely. Too bad, because these were going to work well. She wears a W7, and that's what I ordered + a pair of thick socks. She said they felt great. Hopefully just one pair that didn't get put together right. Would have been a much higher rating, but a defect stinks.

I already reviewed these........to nice to hike in. The only thing I might change is to make it a rubber toe cap, not suede. Before they started putting the rubber covers on the toes, they were always suede and I know that works too, just not as well. Otherwise very comfy!

So I ordered the size 10 because I thought I might want a larger size for socks. The 9.5 fit great, and the size 10 would have worked with heavy socks. I kept the size 9.5 and sent the size 10 to my sister. I hope they work for her. Very comfortable, nice Vibram sole. Lovely boots.

Fit like a GloveVerified Buyer Reviewed by MtnGrl from Endless Mtns, PA on Sunday, February 1, 2015I normally buy either Asolo or Mamut as they seem to fit my type of foot well, but I read these boots have a wrap around internal system that conforms to your foot fit so I tried them. They are excellent quality, nice looking and wore them right out of the box although the soles are a bit stiff which is okay. They are true to size as I wear a 7M and these fit perfect with cushioned hiking socks. I have a high instep, a high arch, my heel and ankle are narrow but would say the ball/toe box of my foot is actually a little on the wider side. These boots fit my foot like a glove, they have great arch support, are well padded inside and the more you wear them they actually do conform to your foot as they advertised. Boots are very comfortable now that I have worn a couple times and I love them!! Soles are very grippy, boots are fairly light and no leeks so far but I have to see how well they wear with time.
One caution though if you have a very wide foot make sure you order a wide if available as these are not extremely wide boots.
