Not too thick, not too thin. Pricier than most other pairs, but the quality is top notch. Great fit, true to size (I'm a 34 waist and inseam, ordered a large). Great waist, great length. They are slightly longer in the leg than my husband expected, but he hasn't tripped on them yet. He does find them comfortable except for the scratchy tag at the back of the waistband, so he has to wear them with a tee tucked in rather than out. It will get cut off eventually, once we've memorized the washing instructions
