5.0 out of 5 stars. Works greatVerified Buyer Reviewed by Anonymous from WI on Tuesday, January 17, 2017This hat works extremely well in cold conditions. I have worn it in below zero (F) temps and up to 20F in very windy conditions. The hat completely blocks the wind and kept my head very warm. I had to use a balaclava in the below zero temps to protect my neck and face. I did sweat with the combination, but my head stayed warm even though sweaty. I have not washed the hat yet, so I'm not sure how it will hold up, but I'm extremely happy with the performance so far.

4.0 out of 5 stars. Not all that funny lookingVerified Buyer Reviewed by El Presidente from Lake Tahoe on Monday, October 3, 2016Agree with reviewers who say it looks better on than in picture. Fits a little tight under ski helmet but worth a try, as it is warm and amply covers the ears on my fat head.

5.0 out of 5 stars. Perfect Hat for Wet WeatherVerified Buyer Reviewed by Anonymous from Pennsylvania on Wednesday, September 21, 2016I'm not sure what size hat I wear and I was hesitant to buy a large, but it fits perfectly. The water-repellent beanie will stay dry over a knit hat, and the merino wool band will keep my ears warm.

4.0 out of 5 stars. warm but fits very large!!Verified Buyer Reviewed by Glove Lover from BC, Canada on Wednesday, February 17, 2016I ordered the large size as my head measurement was right at the bottom end of that scale....bad move! I should have gone the smaller size....This fits HUGE. Does anyone even have a head this big?? Does feel nice and warm though...would be great for those very cold days of running or snow shoveling. Comes way down past the ears but you can also roll the cuff up a bit to make it smaller. And looks a little funny but does the job...of course who cares what you look like when it's cold outside and you're the only person out for a run in the cold, wind, & snow!

4.0 out of 5 stars. super warm, shows some pilingReviewed by Ecogary from coloardo on Sunday, January 31, 2016very warm, packable hat. I own two. First one has shown weird piling around the seams, but nothing that has affected performance or detrimental to the sturdiness of the hat.

5.0 out of 5 stars. Cute, and warmVerified Buyer Reviewed by Anonymous from Cleveland on Monday, January 18, 2016When I first pulled this hat out of the box, I didn't think it would be warm enough to wear in our Cold Cleveland winter weather. But I was surprised to discover that not only is it warm, but it fits nicely in my blue puffer coat, which is the same color as the hat. I wear it often
