3.0 out of 5 stars. Could be designed betterVerified Buyer Reviewed by Lucy from upstate NY on Thursday, December 29, 2016In order to get this cap over your ears (and how warm is any hat that doesn't cover the ears?), you need to unzip the back and pull down the black fleece liner (couldn't color coordinate the liner?). It has a better brim that many "brimmed" winter caps, but the thin fleece isn't very warm, a definite flaw in this cap design.

4.0 out of 5 stars. nice lookVerified Buyer Reviewed by grammie in nh from nh on Tuesday, December 13, 2016inside of cap was twisted which did not feel right. Otherwise seemed like a warm cap.

1.0 out of 5 stars. has no ear flaps, so would be really cold when you need it for your ears.Verified Buyer Reviewed by Pony lady from PA on Tuesday, November 29, 2016Color isn't very attractive either. I usually wear blues, but this red is too orangey for me.

3.0 out of 5 stars. This is not a down capReviewed by Steve from NJ - New Jersey on Tuesday, October 18, 2016The description is wrong -- this is not a down cap. The insulation is primaloft. The hat is also very boxy. and the drop down extension has a weird fit to it. I'm returning this cap.

3.0 out of 5 stars. Good Concept - Odd ShapeVerified Buyer Reviewed by SNG68 from Long Island, NY on Wednesday, February 10, 2016I normally wear a 7 1/2" cap and purchased this in a L/XL. Hat was too big all around and has an odd rectangular shape to it that looks silly when your wearing it. I had someone else try it on and the hat fit them the same so I am going to say it is the design and not the shape of my head. :0) I agree with a prior reviewer that its hard to wear glasses with it when the sides are zipped down. Returning.

5.0 out of 5 stars. Warm headVerified Buyer Reviewed by Barry from Pa on Thursday, February 4, 2016I'm pleased wth the cap, very light and very warm. The zip-down section cover both ears, just barely, but it does cover them. I should point out that insulation is not down but rather primaloft. Since primaloft is very similar to down in weight and retains insulative qualities when wet... I count that as a plus. I'm glad I bought two.

3.0 out of 5 stars. Good idea, tough to pull offVerified Buyer Reviewed by VA Hiker from Virginia on Thursday, January 28, 2016This is a neat idea, but does not really work.. It is fine as a standard hat, though the sizing runs large. The shape completely changes when you deploy the ear covers, distorting the hat to the point you cannot wear glasses.

5.0 out of 5 stars. good designReviewed by Anonymous from Pennsylvania on Thursday, August 6, 2015This hat is warm and light weight. Perfect for snow shoveling, hiking, or travel in cold temps. L/XL fits a 7 1/4 to 7 3/8 size head It's difficult to find a warm hat with some style when most "one size fits all" do NOT fit me!
