1.0 out of 5 stars. not as expectedVerified Buyer Reviewed by mountainlove from Mammoth Lakes, CA on Wednesday, February 25, 2015I like merino wool mittens, and these were cute aesthetically; however, the knit was very loose and wide, enabling cold air to get into hands very easily. Not what I was looking for. I need more functional, heavier-duty mittens for the cold climate in which I live. These might be sufficient in warmer climates, though.

2.0 out of 5 stars. DraftyVerified Buyer Reviewed by Emily from Minnesota on Wednesday, February 18, 2015I bought these mittens with the idea that they would be nice, warm, wool mittens. However, they are a crochet/knitted style, with big drafty holes! They are not warm at all. And, the threads/yarns snag easily on these, so my mittens already have several loose threads They are cute, but that is the extent of the pros of these mittens. e

1.0 out of 5 stars. Don't waste your money!Verified Buyer Reviewed by Iowa outdoor lover from central Iowa on Monday, February 16, 2015Bought these wanting a light weight mitten for days that aren't so cold, or for snow shoeing where I get really warm. They arrived and were so pretty, but very thin. I wore them one time to a show, and by the time we had gotten inside the mitten top had started to unravel. By the end of the night there wasn't much left. Such a disappointment. I came home and cut of all of the long pieces, tried to salvage them for play mittens, and then wore them once more and then both of them did it. They went in the trash. :(

1.0 out of 5 stars. Poor designVerified Buyer Reviewed by JF's shopper from capital region, upstate new york on Wednesday, February 4, 2015I love merino wool and the OR products I have purchased in the past have been of great quality and design. Not these. The knit loop snags and pulls almost immediately. The loop design is also loose so whatever the temperature is outside is going to reach the inside of the mittens and one's hands very quickly. I did use glove liners but the loop design is so loose/open that the cold temperatures outside quickly penetrate the liner.
