I appreciated the high waist and the pockets. They feel like high quality shorts and fit nice and snug just as I hoped. I'm 5'7 about 140lbs with an athletic build and the mediums fit perfectly. They're very stretchy so I'm happy they will grow with my pregnant self ;)

5.0 out of 5 stars. i basically live in theseVerified Buyer Reviewed by Anonymous from california on Thursday, August 11, 2016these are my go-to shorts for most occasions. i wear them so much, i just purchased a second identical pair in case i wear the first ones out. the fabric is super soft and thin, but also stretchy, flexible, and not see through. the pockets are not sturdy enough to hold a lot of weight, but they are good enough for your keys or a phone. the waist is high (up to my belly button), but the shorts are SHORT!! so be prepared to show your entire leg and maybe even a little cheek with these on

But I wanted the pocket detail that you see in the image, where the pocket is outlined in gray. The shorts in person were straight black. But they are a very nice fabric. I just sent them back in favor of other shorts I liked better.

I ordered a medium in mandarin grey, my size in Athleta yoga shorts, and these were just a bit too small. I thought they'd be good to wear around the house with the handy pockets, but they fit so snugly that I don't think I'd put anything in those pockets. I'd probably fit the large better, but I decided to return them.
