About Camper

Although the Camper footwear brand was established in 1975, the history of the company actually dates back to 1877, when a skilled Spanish cobbler named Antonio Fluxa traveled to England to learn industrial manufacturing. After returning to Spain, Antonio created a shoe factory focused on combining quality, old world craftsmanship with modern production techniques. Ownership of the factory in Majorca passed to Antonio’s son and eventually to his grandson, who created the Camper footwear brand in 1975. Over the past several decades, high-quality and stylish Camper shoes have continued to grow in popularity and are now available in stores all over the globe.
