The rack itself is solidly made, with no sharp edges or burrs. The jars sit snugly within it. Mounting screws and "molly plugs" are included. The jars have a good heft, and fit well in the hand. It is easy to wash any cooking/baking mess off the glass containers. The square tops pop off easily (you can't have screw threads on a square) and fit tightly. The neck of the jar is covered with a clear plastic six-hole shaker cap, which holds the lid on securely. It is easily removed to gain access to larger spices, like cinnamon sticks or star anise pods. They look good and work well. What more do you want from a spice jar?
