1.0 out of 5 stars. Poor qualityReviewed by Iowa Dad from Iowa on Friday, June 30, 2017I have the shoes for three months and walked around the car dealership daily. After those three months hole war through on the bottom, and gave me a blister.

2.0 out of 5 stars. black ChukkaVerified Buyer Reviewed by chukka from california on Friday, April 28, 2017They look nice but I haven't worn them yet because they have a funky oder to them. I will try to air them out to see if the oder goes away.

4.0 out of 5 stars. Sharp and ComfortableReviewed by Benny the camper from Michigan on Friday, April 7, 2017They look great with khakis and are comfortable right out of the box. Easy to get on and off, without the usual chukka mid-foot squeeze. As mentioned the sole is a little slippery by the toes but there is a more grippy rubber on the heel.

3.0 out of 5 stars. Smelly and SlipperyReviewed by Jon Snow from New England on Wednesday, March 15, 2017Overall the boots look very nice, and will likely take some time to break in. As others have mentioned the sole is VERY slick. Not something you would want to wear in icy, snowy, or rainy conditions. Also, these boots have a very distinct toxic chemical smell when you take them out of the box. Not sure if it's just the pair I bought but they smell awful. Time will tell if the odor will go away, if it doesn't then it's a total deal breaker because the smell could clear out a room. The sole and the smell result in a fair review for this boot, I'd give them 2.5 stars. Also seem to run a bit big as others have mentioned. I wear an 11.5 or 12 depending on the brand of shoe, got these in an 11.5 and they are a bit long. Would get an 11 if I returned them, but for $30 on sale I'll keep them and swap out the cardboard insole with orthotics and they'll fit okay.

3.0 out of 5 stars. Comfy but slipperyVerified Buyer Reviewed by Mr Uptown from New York, N.Y. on Friday, March 13, 2015The shoes are comfortable right out of the box and are well cushioned. The black leather looks good. The only problem is that the soles are smooth and do not provide any grip and can slide. There are ridges on the heel but it is not enough. There should be some on the soles also. Overall I gave them only a fair rating only for this reason.

5.0 out of 5 stars. Great quality and styleVerified Buyer Reviewed by jdskovs from Pennsylvania on Wednesday, March 4, 2015These are really nice boots than can be dressed up or down. They will require some break in time and the soles lack traction. I am typically a size 10.5 but the size 10 fit me best. I have narrow feet.
