It would take up quite a bit of room folded on a shelf. The cardigan was decidedly too large in my normal size, and not loveable enough for me to bother reordering it in a smaller size. Sleeves were too long (and I have long arms) and quite fitted. I ordered black, but the color was a bit faded, more like a dark charcoal gray.

However, the collar band is extra wide and bunches up oddly. It doesn't lay flat when flipped back either. Finally flipped it toward the inside (folded in half), and it looks fine now. The sleeves are extremely long and narrow. I had sized up for casual comfort, and discovered that although the body is rather wide in the larger size, my regular size would have been too tight in the sleeves. Even with the larger size, I won't be able to wear anything more than an extremely lightweight layer or a sleeveless camisole underneath. I'll have to shorten the sleeves too. The illustration shows them kind of pushed up at the wrists, but I had to turn almost 6 inches to the inside in order to get the length to the back of my hand.

I am casual in dressing for work...but at the same time very particular to lines and looking finished in the end. On me this has a very nice drape, washes well, comfort is excellent, does not get in the way at work, breathes. Nice.

Overall I really like it and I bought it in several colors. It's a nice light-weight sweatshirt material. I wanted to give it 4.5 stars, but it's not an option. I didn't give it 5 stars only because of the cut. This cardigan has an uneven bottom hemline. It adds a nice unique look while at the same time (in my opinion) it limits its versatility.
