5.0 out of 5 stars. Lightweight pack

I haven't used the pack yet but I have the 28L Kompressor pack and what I really like about these packs is that they are lightweight. Consequently, the majority of the weight you are carrying is your stuff and not your pack. This one is a good size for day hiking, especially as I want to be able to carry my camera gear as well as other items.

  • 4.0 out of 5 stars. Great Pack but the 22L is Small

I bought it for climbing and day pack with backpacking. I think these are great packs but.. 22L is really just too small for being useful. I needed a 30L'ish sized pack.

Nice bag for day hikes and stuffing in larger backpack. Just enough room for what you need and light enough not to worry about carrying it in the main pack.

Great day packs. I bought two and my daughters liked them so much I had to buy two more just so I could have one.

About Marmot

Conceived in a university dorm room by a pair of climbing buddies, Marmot Mountain Works first opened its doors in the spring of 1974 in Grand Junction, Colorado. At the time, the base of operations was a 100-year-old stone building. That same year, the first Marmot down jacket was produced specifically for an action flick called “The Eiger Sanction,” starring legendary actor Clint Eastwood. In the four decades since, Marmot has continued to engineer reliable gear that exceeds the expectations of outdoor athletes. Today, Marmot tents, backpacks, outerwear, clothing and Marmot sleeping bags are still pushing the limits in the planet’s most challenging conditions, from the summits of the world’s highest mountains to the deepest river basins.
