3.0 out of 5 stars. GREAT SUIT.Verified Buyer Reviewed by Anonymous from Pittsburgh on Wednesday, July 22, 2015I believe that if this suit fit I would buy every d'Avenza suit STP had, but alas it was not the suit but the fit that made me send it back. I ordered a 54 Eu. size witch is a 44 us. The coat fit in the chest but the length of the coat seemed more like a long than a regular. The sleeves came down to my knuckles and to cut them would have brought the sleeves to short to adjust the buttons. The sleeve buttons did not come with the suit and to find matching buttons would have been very problematic because of the color. The sleeves are opened (meaning when the buttons and button holes are applied they actually work) which means a tailoring fee around $100.00. The difficulty was after cutting the sleeves to length it would be impossible to get one or more buttons placed the way they should be. Now for the trousers, they were said to be 38's but by trying them on they were closer to a 34 or 36 and there was not enough material to take them to 38's. The trousers were the deal breaker. I have suits by Brioni, Zegna, Canali and Hickey Freeman and they all fit at a 38. I believe these may have been mismatched. The suit is high end and the price is better than good so if you think it will fit go for it.

3.0 out of 5 stars. Beautiful BUT Long and lack of buttonReviewed by A Japan customer from Japan on Wednesday, May 20, 2015Beautiful suit with great cloth and construction. Hand made everywhere.
BUT
STP described it wrongly, my 48R(US 38R) jacket came with 31" from BOC in length,
while It's noted 30" in length for 50R on specs... and, the sleeve buttons are undone,
this is usual for high grade suits, the thing is sleeve buttons are not in the package!
I decide to keep it and pay 150$ for alteration. -

d' Avenza is a little known but high quality maker of men's clothing and has made Bijan suits. The company was recently purchased by Brunelo Cuchinello. The workmanship is fantastic and it is considered a bargain at 2,500. At ST prices it is an absolute steal
