5.0 out of 5 stars. Nice vest but a little restrictingReviewed by HikerBiker from Kalamazoo on Friday, February 10, 2017It's like my Marmot ROM jacket without the hood and sleeves. Fit aroound torso is slightly more snug than the ROM making it less comfortable when bending or reaching. I think it's fine for short hikes or walks in town, but find fleece vest much more comfortable. It looks very sharp and actually works well with a dress shirt for casual business wear. Quality is top notch.

5.0 out of 5 stars. Nice VestVerified Buyer Reviewed by Snowman from Detroit on Thursday, February 4, 2016The fit and the fabric were the high quality I expected. It's a cool weather, not cold weather, vest. But you'll be able to get a layer under it. I hope to enjoy many years out of it.

4.0 out of 5 stars. Good vest lots of pocketsVerified Buyer Reviewed by John from To Colorado from Texas then back to Texas on Wednesday, January 20, 2016Love the wind and some water resistantcy. Sooo many pockets. Will be using year round in Texas. Good overlay bike wear for casual rides. Little heavier than expected. Fits very true to size but has zip tighener near waist if too big. Typically get an extra large but marmot ususally am a large. Putchased XL and returned for Large. Love STP return policy. Makes my shopping spree easier to stomach if not like the gear. Thanx STP!

5.0 out of 5 stars. Awesome LayerVerified Buyer Reviewed by Steve from Utah on Tuesday, January 19, 2016Winters in SLC, Utah require active people compile a versatile quiver of activewear.
This piece is awesome. It is form fitting so it is a great layer under a heavier outer layer for skiing (as opposed to a bulkier fleece piece), or worn alone over a fleece for around town, or worn under a cycling jacket to keep your core toasty.
I am a performance-wear junkie and this is by far my most versatile piece. I have several vests and this is now the first I reach for.
Sierra Trading Post is awesome. I got one for myself, and one for my wife. Paid 85.00 total when retail was $260. -
5.0 out of 5 stars. A Great Addition to My Hiking Closet.Reviewed by Snowman from Detroit on Wednesday, January 6, 2016I just happened to have a mid-weight sweater on when it arrived. I put it on immediately and it fit perfectly. I'm a solid medium and this fit "athletically" over the sweater; arms swing freely. It might be a little tight over a bulky sweater. It's as much of a shell as it an insulator; probably good down to 40 degrees. At 80 per cent off, it's a shame I didn't order one in both colors.
