4.0 out of 5 stars. Nice looking jacketVerified Buyer Reviewed by CardiacTwinky from Nebraska on Wednesday, July 29, 2015I bought this jacket for cooler weather and haven't had a chance to use it yet. I took a chance on the color (wasn't my 1st pick), I'm happy with the look and the fit is great. I think this is a keeper.

4.0 out of 5 stars. Very nice jacket but sleeves are too longReviewed by HikerBiker from Kalamazoo, MI on Monday, June 29, 2015The Prodigy is similar to the Marmot Leadville, but "beefier.". Although the Prodigy and Leadville are both constructed with Windstopper and Marmot M2 materials, the Prodigy is noticeably thicker and heavier. It seems like a perfect shell for high output activities in cold weather. As some reviewers have pointed out, the sleeves on this jacket are really long - longer than any other Marmot jacket I have. Although I like longer sleeves for cycling, the sleeves on the Prodigy are still too long even in a stretched out position in front of the body. The only practical application for such long sleeves seems to be for climbing. For hiking or general urban wear, the sleeves bunch up and looks strange. And, due to the thicker material, I found it very difficult to lift the cuff to view my watch. I would recommend viewing images of people wearing this jacket on Google to get a better perspective of the sleeve length.

5.0 out of 5 stars. Great fit!Verified Buyer Reviewed by Warm in NJ. from NJ on Thursday, June 18, 2015This fit my husband perfectly. He has 361/2 inch arms and he has sleeve length to spare. Doesn't ride up to let wind in. Bought two since they fit so well.

4.0 out of 5 stars. Marmot ProdigyVerified Buyer Reviewed by Beav from NY on Wednesday, April 22, 2015Very nice jacket in a trim fit. Order a size larger than normal to wear layers underneath. Good idea and good fit; however, the sleeves were three inches pass my finger tips. It has a velcro sleeve closure but that much extra material bunched on my arms was the deal breaker. Had to send it back. Wish I could have kept it, it was really nice.

5.0 out of 5 stars. Great looking fit!Verified Buyer Reviewed by Anonymous from Wisconsin on Thursday, February 26, 2015This is my second prodigy jacket, the grey one from the previous year was my first, and I love the tapered fit of this jacket. I benefit from help in the tailoring department in accentuating my physique while hiding it at the same time. Middle aged guys know what I'm saying. I (220# - 6') usually wear a 48L and I bought the XL. it has plenty of shoulder and torso room and the waist isn't to tight or too baggy comfortably reaching down your back being a good length. I think about buying more every time I visit the sight and hope Marmot brings it out again next year too.

5.0 out of 5 stars. Marmot...you cannot beat itVerified Buyer Reviewed by IA Farmboy from St Louis on Tuesday, February 17, 2015Very light weight soft shell without being flimsy, has good warmth (recently tested at 20 degrees 13 mile an hour winds) you can wear a additional base layer for added warmth, good wind blocking protection but also breathes well. Great fit/cut. I am 5' 10' 235 lbs. XXL without the beer gut.
