5.0 out of 5 stars. Designed for overpronators, men who have flat feet, and heavy weight runners.Reviewed by Robert C from Sunnyvale, CA on Saturday, October 24, 2015I ran 20 miles a week and could run a 10k race in 39 minutes 30 years ago. In my 60s I developed knee joint pains when running, and had to give it up, saving my knees for tennis. I checked Runners World, and found this shoe designed for over pronators -men with flat feet, and heavy weight runners. I'm 5'7" and 185 lbs and 63 years old, and this shoe is a godsend! I can run again without knee joint pains! These shoes are very light but bulky. They have maximum cushion and somewhat resemble platform shoes, with soles starting at 0.5" in height and extremely high arches exceeding 1". The shoes are angled so that the outside edge is taller than the inside edge by about 0.25".

5.0 out of 5 stars. Wonderful shoe, runs long and narrowReviewed by DC runner from 20007 on Wednesday, October 21, 2015I am a longtime STP customer and I wanted to let my fellow athletes know how great this shoe is. I have wide flat feet so it's nearly impossible to buy online so I hope my review helps you. I over pronate substantially but am very light (5'11, 140) so I don't need a Beast type shoe but something with a high does of stability. I used to run in Brooks only, addictions, adrenalines, and tried the newest Transcend but that left me with a stress fracture. Doc said it was due to poor stitching in the transcend but needless to say, I am never going to buy that shoe again. Thank god STP is so understanding. So I was wary switching brands but this shoe fits so much better than the Brooks Adrenaline and Addiction for me. It has a lot more cushioning and the build quality is better. I have had no injuries since using this shoe at all, not even leg fatigue which is a real testament to this shoe. Just remember, this shoe runs long but is narrow. So if you have wide feet but not very long, be warned that going up a size or half size will be too big for you and leave too much space in the front and back but the width will be narrow. I know STP provides hints on sizing and so I hope my review helps just a bit more!
