5.0 out of 5 stars. Great jacket for colder weatherVerified Buyer Reviewed by Anonymous from Northern California on Thursday, January 21, 2016This is actually a great coat. It's a bit longer than some which I like, and it feels very durable (only had it a week and a half so I can't be sure). It is very warm. Almost too warm for me. I live in Northern California so our winters aren't too cold, but if I was doing any heavy outdoor work in this coat I would certainly be sweating a lot.
It has plenty of pockets (inside and out) and they are pretty good size (I carried a standard size hard back book in one).
If they had them in smaller sizes I'd buy them for my kids too. -

4.0 out of 5 stars. A BargainVerified Buyer Reviewed by Toby's Walk Buddy from CT on Sunday, January 3, 2016Nice jacket at a great price. It is a little bulkier than I would have liked, and I am not a fan of the inner knit cuff in the sleeve. But for the price it cant be beat. The shoulders are gusseted in the back so there is plenty of freedom of movement.

5.0 out of 5 stars. heavy? I thought the box this came in had two pairs of shoes I ordered....Reviewed by Scott C. from Centennial, CO on Tuesday, December 29, 2015This is probably the best bargain I've picked up at STP, by far. This jacket is definitely not a year round jacket. It's for those of us that spend a few months a year in bitter cold. And heavy would be underselling it by a lot. I truly thought the box this came in had some shoes I ordered. Nope. Just the jacket and a dog bowl and a plastic serving plate. It's gotta weight 5 or maybe even 10 pounds. No exaggeration and mine is a Large. The lining is thick. And warm. Tons of pockets and I love the "hand" pockets on the front of the jacket where you put your hands in from the sides, but you also have top-loading pockets in front of them. So you don't have your hands in your pockets to keep them warm, but where you also have your car keys, phone etc. that could potentially fall out as you take your hands in and out of these pockets. Two more pockets on the interior (Velcro closure) and even a handy little vertical pocket for a pen. Nice touch. Even has the vertical zippered pocket on the left breast which works great for us right handers. NOT a rain jacket. You can tell this material, kind of a brushed denim or Carhartt type (rugged) feel to it, would soak up the water easily. Then again, that's not what I bought it for but I'd assume the fabric would accept a Scotch guard type treatment if you were so inclined. I was so proud of my "buy" that I let my 23 year old daughter try it on and from the smile on her face, I knew I'd never see this jacket again. Sadly, it and my money are going to CU in Boulder after winter break is over. My only other gripe, albeit a small one, is that I'm a Michigan State alum and it pains me to wear anything that says Wolverine on it! But with this jacket I'll make an exception.

4.0 out of 5 stars. Practical, sturdy, attractiveVerified Buyer Reviewed by Fr. Kit from Maine on Friday, March 20, 2015This is a great jacket! We wanted a replacement for an ancient blanket lined Osh-Kosh that has gotten totally beat up in the past 10+years. This jacket is warm, has a zipper, lots of pockets, including handwarmenrs, front patch and 2 inside. Secure knitted cuffs keep out wind. It's cozy. Sleeves aren't overly long, but we are mostly short. This jacket pretty much fits all of us--me, men's small/short, spouse mens m-l/short--ok, a little snug on spouse, and 6'2" size M offspring. it would be better with a two way zipper, but really, can't complain!
