It's very warm and waterproof. I got the XL so I can layer up underneath. Well it's really not necessary. With a sweatshirt its all you need! I will be ordering the same coat in a LG and in the other color! I can't say enough about this coat and the price is great! I only have one complainant. I wish the pockets where deeper. I walk dogs for a living and it's a bit challenging stuffing all my clients house keys along with poop bags. but other than small pockets- this coat is the best coat ever!!I also LOVE the color. its more of an ARMY green which I'm totally fine with. Trust me you won't be disappointed. Coat is true to size. Ladies this is NOT a coat you want to wear then go around the house checking to make sure lights are off / stove is off /so on because you WILL sweat! It's so warm, you put on coat and walk out the door. I recommend this coat two thumbs up.

I don,t really see a problem with the zipper. I decided to size up when i was in between sizes and I am glad I did, especially in the arms and shoulders so I can wear a sweater underneath. What a buy I got with a coupon. So happy!

It was being sold for more than brand new at Sierra. It's very stylish and warm, flattering on my hourglass figure. My one concern is that the zipper doesn't seem to be great quality. I need to fuss with it to get it zipped. This was also an issue with the coat at the consignment store, which was one of the reasons I didn't buy it. I can foresee the zipper being the first thing that breaks, on an otherwise perfect coat!
