5.0 out of 5 stars. Excellent Winter CoatVerified Buyer Reviewed by Anonymous from PA on Tuesday, March 3, 2015This jacket keeps me very warm. I have a slender build, and it is tailored nicely for my build, and fits very well. It is very well constructed with a lot of thoughtful extras. If I could make any change, I would prefer for the hood to be removable. Other than that, I love it.

5.0 out of 5 stars. Great coat!Verified Buyer Reviewed by Brian from Minneapolis on Tuesday, March 3, 2015I'd definitely buy this again. It's warm, water/wind proof, and very stylish. I wear it everyday in the Minnesota winter and it's perfect for me. I also really like the look. It can go as a nice casual/outdoor activity coat, but also used in a dressier situation. I wore it to a formal affair with my suit underneath and it still looked great. I would definitely buy it again.

5.0 out of 5 stars. Uniquely QualifiedVerified Buyer Reviewed by Anonymous from South Carolina on Tuesday, March 3, 2015I've never owned nor even seen a jacket quite like this Merrell one. The material is unlike anything I've worn before, and I love that it's not a regular hardshell, since I think those tend to lack in the style department. The charcoal and brown look is very versatile, lending the jacket towards outdoor activity but remaining fine for wearing to classes or work. As it's a medium weight jacket, I've worn it in snowing conditions (remember I'm SC) with a sweater underneath, but I would also wear it just on a breezy day. Would be too much for summer rainstorms unless absolutely necessary, however. The medium ran a little long in the torso for me (6' 0", 150), but since I want the jacket to keep me dry that's no big issue. The velcro adjustable wrists are an excellent feature. The hood and waist adjustments also let you stay dry with a customized fit. The zipper and metal buttons are highly functional. Only inconvenience is that when you're wearing the jacket unzipped your right sleeve may catch on the hooks of the front flap velcro. No big deal though. Plan to recommend to my dad; would definitely suggest to anyone needing a versatile midweight jacket!
