3.0 out of 5 stars. Not as good as older styleVerified Buyer Reviewed by Anonymous from hesperus, colorado on Monday, January 4, 2016The best feature of this jacket are the hem-to- bicep pit zips that have almost infinite adjustment options and can be completely unzipped to use as a poncho over a small to medium pack, or for complete ventilation during warm weather. I got this to supplement/replace a five year old reflexa jacket that has reduced water repellency due to age. This style is inferior to the older model for primarily two reasons. First, they moved the third pocket from the bottom interior to an exterior upper chest location. The interior pocket was vital when using the jacket in wet conditions (for which it is designed) to keep things like a phone or GPS dry. An exterior pocket located close to the shoulder is going to get a million times wetter than the interior bottom. The second issue is the odd piece of wire that has now been inserted into the front of the hood. I guess it's supposed to make the front of the hood into a brim, but it doesn't work very well, makes it more difficult to pack away the jacket, and will presumably rip through the fabric shortly, leaving a hole. These issues lower the rating from five stars to three.

5.0 out of 5 stars. Versatile jacket with lots of perks!Verified Buyer Reviewed by kampinkhara from California on Sunday, December 6, 2015This jacket is full of great details! The double pull zipper lets air in without flapping in the wind, the top of the hood is adjustable, full length side (pit) zippers really let you breather, soft lining of the inside collar and a upper chest pocket!

2.0 out of 5 stars. I love everything about this jacket except the fitReviewed by skye97 from Washington on Thursday, November 19, 2015All of the features on this jacket make it a great lightweight waterproof coat. However, the fit is really weird. It's super roomy everywhere except around the neck, where it's tight and restricting. At first I thought that this was caused by the hood being stowed away, but it felt similar when the hood was out. I could imagine this becoming really uncomfortable if you're carrying a pack that's pulling on the jacket at all. Even without a pack I felt slightly strangled. I've never had this issue with a jacket before and this is the first OR item I've ever returned (they usually make such awesome products!), but unfortunately this is headed back.

4.0 out of 5 stars. Great little jacketVerified Buyer Reviewed by Anonymous from AZ on Tuesday, October 6, 2015Light weight, comfortable and waterproof. Fit was better than I'd thought - I have a short waist and the two-way zipper is key.

5.0 out of 5 stars. Excellent jacketVerified Buyer Reviewed by Anonymous from Oregon on Tuesday, July 7, 2015This jacket is awesome. I wanted a light, breathable, and waterproof jacket and that is exactly what this is. It is a very well designed jacket that is incredibly functional and it is an attractively cut garment. My favorite features are the variety of zippers for venting, the very waterproof seams, and the hood design. I wasn't sure if I wanted to buy a small size or a medium, based on Outdoor Research's measurement charts, so I went with a small because this is not a fitted garment. I am 5'6" 125lbs, 27.5" waist and 37" hips and the small fit great.
I wear this in light rain, storms, while I'm riding my bike in the rain, and it works out very well. I plan to wear it to Costa Rica during the rainy season and I feel quite confident that it will suit me well there, too.
