Normally, a size 8 is roomy on her. She couldn't even pull this sweater over her arms without fear of ripping the delicate material. Beware, these are NOT AT ALL true to size.

I'm 5'2", 135, D cup, and I got a medium. It fits close to the body, including the sleeves. I was hoping for a sweater with a little more room. Still, it looks good on, and is nicely made. I'll probably wear it over tanks and sleeveless dresses.

I ordered the "blue melange" and liked it so much I immediately ordered the gray and the beige. Barbour cardigans fit me perfectly. I wear them all the time! The Popham is lightweight, just enough to wear in the spring or to take the chill out of a summer's night. The color is even prettier in real life than it is in the photos. The fabric shows flecks of darker gray-blue showing up against the slightly lighter background shades. The description of "a flattering longer length" is spot on. I am petite and (almost!) feel long, definitely sleek wearing this over a cami, with jeans and sandals or booties. You could wear it with no cami - I like that look but linen is a bit rough against the torso The tartan trim elevates the style, similar to that of another well-known British designer. This style cardi has no pockets which keeps the long straight line...but if you own a Barbour Alma cardigan, you might be expecting them. Can't say enough about the premier quality of Barbour products. The materials, finishes,& fit will spoil you! Highly recommend.
