5.0 out of 5 stars. Wonderful for welders!

Got this for a welder friend at his request - he works in it year round to avoid burns, due to some of the angles/positions he welds in, and says it's the greatest thing since sliced bread!

Bought two of these for use next year and may buy more. They are very long in both body and sleeves, a plus as far as I am concerned. They are soft and feel nice on my skin also. Nice product.
  • 4.0 out of 5 stars. Great turleneck

I love the feel of this turleneck, but was surprised by a couple of things. First, it does run big. I'm kind of between a medium and large, and the Carhartt medium is plenty big. It is also very long (too long for me), but I kind of expected extra length for this particular item. Also, when I think of a "mock" turtleneck, I didn't expect such a high neck which to me is a "full" turtleneck. It can be folded down, which looks fine, but I would prefer to have a much shorter neck for a mock turtleneck. Overall, I love the quality and feel of Carhartt clothes and look forward to wearing this item.

Don't really need the fire rating, but great for use in the studio/garage/shop. Remove the outlandish spec labels and it could pass for casual attire.

About Carhartt

If you're looking for durable, comfortable clothing and outerwear, few other brands can compete with Carhartt. Although the venerable Carhartt clothing company has become one of the most respected names in American work wear today, the brand comes from humble roots. Founded in 1889, the family-owned business started out in Detroit, Michigan with just two sewing machines and five employees. During The First World War, the company made uniforms for the US military and also manufactured work clothing for the Navy during WWII. Today, Carhartt clothing is still known for robust fabrics, top-notch construction and a great fit. From rugged Carhartt jackets and coveralls to jeans and shirts, this is one brand you can trust to deliver the real deal -- every time.
