5.0 out of 5 stars. Great comfy camping chair!Verified Buyer Reviewed by Sally V from California on Friday, December 25, 2015This is the second mantis chair I purchased, and it is slightly improved from the first one. The original was the same level of comfort, but this 2.0 packs down even smaller. We also have a monarch and mayfly chair from Alite, and in comparison, the mantis sits a little taller and higher in the back. It also feels a little more stable than those two. All the Alite products we have purchased (mostly from STP) have been super high quality, comfy, and packable!!! By design, these are camp or picnic chairs, and intended for athletic people. Sometimes not the easiest thing to get up out of. They sit lower than most other folding chairs, so if you're bringing it to a soccer game or something, they are slightly awkward to sit next to someone in because you are not on the same level. For that, Alite makes the Bison chair. The Alite quiver of various height and size chairs seems very specific, but all really great products.

3.0 out of 5 stars. Only good for watching sunsets or looking at trees.Reviewed by Anonymous from USA on Friday, May 8, 2015If you plan on cooking while sitting in it or eating out of a pot, this is not your chair, because you lean too far back while sitting. You can make the chair sway left and right with little force. It sits low to the ground. Getting out of the chair always makes it flip forward. The Pros are compact for backpacking and storing. Material is durable. Weight is 2 pounds with sack. If keeping your rear off the ground along with some dough makes since, then buy it. Score of three stars is being generous. Thanks
