It lies nicely and the front and back a just a bit longer so it covers your stomach when bending and moving.

My only "complaint" is that it's too long. Granted I have a short frame, but I don't plan on using this shirt for casual wear. That being said, I have worn this tank hiking, running, lifting weights, and in a boot camp class were I do a lot of mountain climbers/burpees. For all of these occasions, I've been very grateful for a longer shirt. It didn't ride up under my day pack while hiking, and my belly wasn't hanging out while jumping and moving around in the gym. I like the deep purple color and cut that shows off my shoulders. Overall, very pleased with this purchase.
