I have the most finicky feet and these sandals are a dream, and they're cute to boot! Comfortable right out of the box, but I'm guessing they'll keep getting more comfortable as I break them in. These will be my go-to sandals for many summers to come.

The strap over the instep on the right shoe was about an inch shorter than the strap over the instep on the left shoe. The right shoe fit perfectly and I was so happy! Then I tried on the left shoe and it was loose and floppy. I held them up together for comparison and found the strap on the left shoe to be much longer. I was so disappointed. I thought of re-ordering, but what if workmanship on all of them is poor? I returned these sadly.

This shoe is designed for a narrow footReviewed by Lafemmefarmer from Washington on Sunday, August 14, 2016Although I purchased this shoe from a local retailer (and paid full price) I would like to point out that this shoe is a narrow width and not a true medium width. The Naot catalog and their website lists this shoe as "narrow to medium width". The Naots I've purchased in the past are in their "medium width" category. Unfortunately I did not notice this when I ordered them and so had to return them, which completely bummed me out as they are super cute sandals. So if you are a true medium width - this shoe will probably not stay on your foot - your foot will slide back and your heel will hang off the back. if you go with a larger size than normal you risk having the arch support in the incorrect position and therefore would not realize the true benefit of the support Naot shoes provide - which is quite wonderful when you have the proper fit. I gave them 4 stars as they are a great shoe but STP is listing them as a medium width when they are more of a narrow width.

I have not received the size 40 yet, but am sure that it will fit beautifully. The sandal seems to run a bit small, so consider ordering up.

After reviewing the reviews I was not quite sure what size I would take. I am a 7.5 I was going to just order a 38 but decided to order a 38 and 39. I was glad I did. The 38 did fit perfectly but the length of the shoe was just to short, my heal hung over the end. The 39 do fit great. I compared the length of the size 38 with all my other 38 shoes and their at least 1/4 shorter or more. It's a shame they don't give the inches in length. Otherwise it is very well made and very comfortable. I would like to order another Noat shoe but again not sure of sizing.
