5.0 out of 5 stars. One of few trail shoes that are comfortable on pavement, and responsive on trail.Reviewed by Backcountry Family from Grand Marais, MN on Monday, June 6, 2016I really love this shoe. As a person who worked in specialty outdoor/running footwear for a decade, it was hard to find a trail runner that was comfortable on pavement. Usually, when it was, it was really a road runner being advertised as a trail runner. The Leadville is a great hybrid, that has plush cushioning, but good support throughout the foot, and doesn't flex in half like a sandwich board in the forefoot. Excellent shoe, and wish I would have bought two.

4.0 out of 5 stars. Great Shoe-ComfortableVerified Buyer Reviewed by Roc-frk from Louisiana on Tuesday, May 31, 2016I have not had a chance to hit the trails yet but this shoe is comfortable. I have worn it the past few days to get a feel for them. They fit great and are stylish.
The only drawback so far is that the tongue is somewhat hard to position comfortably/correctly when putting the shoes on. -
4.0 out of 5 stars. good trail shoe !!Verified Buyer Reviewed by adi from israel on Tuesday, May 17, 2016took this one after using Hoka Stinson ATR that were good but wear out after 200 miles or so , this shoe rocks-the bottom seems new after 100 miles on them , i like the feeling even tough in the first couple of runs it was a little narrow but then it got wider - already got myself another pear ..if your running trails -technical trails and you are a "big runner" i recommend these

1.0 out of 5 stars. Not the shoe for me.Reviewed by Slick from Pennsylvania on Monday, March 28, 2016I have plantar fasciitis and need a relatively supportive and cushioned shoe. I loved the Brooks Trance but it had be discontinued and I now wear Brooks Adrenalines, Addictions, Beast and Transcends and recently tied Saucony Hurricanes and they all seem to offer cushioned support which allow me to run with out aggravating my injury . I have seen favorable reviews on this shoe and decided to try a pair. I have had the new Balance 1260s in the past which was a reasonably supportive and cushioned shoe. This shoe is nothing like it.. The upper is very stiff and not very comfortable for my taste. I no longer do ultras however this would not be a shoe I would choose to have on my foot to spend a day running..

5.0 out of 5 stars. Awesome trail shoesVerified Buyer Reviewed by Dylan from Ithaca on Wednesday, March 9, 2016Supportive tough trail shoes with sure grip. Heavy duty enough to withstand rugged rocky trails and keep your feet protected. Not the lightest or most flexible shoe but comfortable and functional for long miles on challenging terrain.

5.0 out of 5 stars. Styling Colors and New Balance QualityVerified Buyer Reviewed by Flyguide from scottsdale az on Thursday, January 21, 2016I ordered the size 13 EE and it is true to size. Love the garish colors. Shoe is comfortable with good cushion in the heel. Toss out the cheap insole and replace with something decent for real comfort and foot protection. Has a very aggressive tread pattern that sort of sticks to carpet. I believe that will not be a problem after the sole gets a little wear on it. New Balance calls this style the "Leadville". Leadville Colorado is about ten thousand feet in elevation. Perhaps there should be a bottle of Oxygen packed with this shoe. Hard to breathe up there.

4.0 out of 5 stars. Lightweight, seems stableVerified Buyer Reviewed by MTman from Switzerland on Tuesday, December 8, 2015Been running on flat surfaces with these and they seem to be holding up to my over-pronation, which can at times destroy shoes in a few runs or hikes.
