2.0 out of 5 stars. Not for meReviewed by Anonymous from Chicago on Friday, October 30, 2015I bought the navy. I'm 5'7 w/small shoulders. I usually wear a size 4/6 but the XS fit me just right.
Can't figure out if this looks more like a jacket or shirt. Looks weird in person (to me at least). Reminds me of a 70's jean car coat or factory lab coat. I thought it would be more fitted and flattering but it hangs a bit odd and is more straight. Not too noticeable but the upper back seems to be slightly too large also.
The fabric is soft and stretchy. A slight weird smell to it that I've smelled before on other things and couldn't get out. The side slits make it more shirt like. The pockets down by the hips are about 2 1/2" wide and aim down. You can't fit your hands in them unless yours are very small and bunch your fingers together. I don't think it's worth the price it is selling for right now which is $44. -

But the shoulders were baggy on me, I have a small frame. Also, the back was a little baggy on me, I like things more fitted in the back. So, I sent it back, but if I were handy w/ altering, I would have kept it.

There's a nice sheen to the fabric and it has enough stretch to it to be comfy when driving. Also like the longer length. Nicely sewn and the quality shows even on the inside. Love FDJ!

In my opinion the length gives the jean jacket a bit nicer look to be worn with slacks and jeans.

The only detraction is the sleeves are a bit short for long-armed me. I like the duster style and can easily cuff it to 3/4 sleeves. The high pocket flaps could go, but they're not a big deal. I'm tall enough that many regular jackets come up too high. This longer one provides better coverage than most. BTW, silk touch denim must mean thin denim. Fine for warm weather.
