5.0 out of 5 stars. Good beltVerified Buyer Reviewed by Liking Hiking from Tennessee on Saturday, November 7, 2015My only knock on it is the difficulty buckling it. It is very tight. I'm sure that keeps it in the position in which you set it.

4.0 out of 5 stars. Bucket not as easy to use as other bison belts I own.Verified Buyer Reviewed by DIYgirl from Pennsylvania on Wednesday, October 28, 2015I have several bison belts and the buckle on this is a bit harder to use than my others. Not enough to return it, but enough to stop me from buying more or the same.
Bison belts are great for so many reasons - comfort, sizing, no slipping and you do not have to remove them at airports. -
1.0 out of 5 stars. poor buckle designVerified Buyer Reviewed by Rustic Obie from CA - California on Monday, October 12, 2015The buckle slot is wayyyy to narrow for the width of the webbing. You have to fight to get the webbing through. It can take up to a minute to do

3.0 out of 5 stars. Sturdy beltVerified Buyer Reviewed by Liontamer from Seattle on Monday, September 28, 2015The belt is sturdy and I wear it with hiking pants. The only drawback is the belt buckle. The belt fits ok through the first slot of the buckle but the second slot is tougher to put the belt through as it is slightly tapered in its opening. You need to slightly curl the edge of the belt (the width) to fit it through the second slot. The length of the belt was not my size but that can be remedied by cutting off the excess and heating the cut edge to prevent fraying.

3.0 out of 5 stars. tight claspVerified Buyer Reviewed by Austin shopper from Austin, TX on Tuesday, September 15, 2015As others have noted, the clasp is hard to thread / navigate. Had it been mine, I would have returned it. But my husband likes it and thinks it will loosen up over time. We'll see.

1.0 out of 5 stars. Poor Design / Tight Buckle.Reviewed by Anonymous from Bronx, NY on Friday, September 4, 2015I own several Bison belts, and I wanted to love this one. The black one I ordered looks great, and the material is hefty enough to hold up your heaviest blue jeans. But I found the belt to be virtually unusable because the buckle's design...
There's very little space to pass the thick webbing through the buckle. If you do manage to get it through, you won't want to open the belt only to struggle to close it again. You could tighten and loosen it without opening it once the belt is on, but it's still such a tight fit that I'm afraid the material will fray with repeated use...
Also, because the buckle is so tight and the material so thick, the webbing will not lie flat across the buckle. You'll have a big bulge at the buckle area. It's hardly worth paying the return postage, but I'll have to send it back because I can't use this belt at all.

5.0 out of 5 stars. The best!Verified Buyer Reviewed by Bob-O from Florida on Friday, July 31, 2015I love, love Bison Design belts! I think that I have around ten or so. Except for the very dressiest of occasions, I wear them exclusively.
Of course, I only get a little dressed up for work, weddings and funerals. I live in Florida so I often even wear shorts to church.
That said, the Bison Design belts are of the very highest quality and I have never found any wear or defects in any of the belts I own. They seem to be bullet proof. -
4.0 out of 5 stars. Bison Makes Great Belts!Verified Buyer Reviewed by Anonymous from Bend, OR on Tuesday, May 19, 2015A hefty belt that looks great! This durable item will last for many years, you will be satisfied.
However, this product is not for someone with arthritis, though... The buckle is very snug for tightening -- it can be tricky threading the belt through the buckle if you lack finger strength.
