Heavy duty web material should stand up to stress, buckle is attractive and functrional. Size is irrelevant, if you aren't fat you can cut the belt down and melt the ends to prevent fraying as with any nylon web material. However you'll have to do it neatly since the aperture in the buckle is very tight.

The inside of the buckle is sharp once easily frays the edges of the belt.

While the color & pattern are fantastic, it is such a struggle to use this buckle. Give yourself extra time when you have to go to the bathroom! -

The hold up so well...much better than leather and they match a lot of different things. I purchased these in large and they are quite a bit bigger than the large I got at the retail store. I'm 5'5" and 130 pounds so they wrap quite a bit if the pants are sitting at my waist. They are fine for lower pants that sit more at the hip.

However, this product is not for someone with arthritis, though... The buckle is very snug for tightening -- it can be tricky threading the belt through the buckle if you lack finger strength.
